Session Title:  Interoperability: Changing the Discussion from Technology to Outcomes

Session Description: If you are HHS, ONC, CMS or a health IT vendor then interoperability is the right discussion.  However, the complexity and the technology shouldn’t be the focus for therapists, their staff or the providers they interact with on behalf of the patient. The discussion should be focused on outcomes interoperability should yield such as: patient information delivered at the right place and right time, reducing staff burden, automating processes, personalized medicine, improving context of a patient, easy care plan workflows, communication with payers and release of information to 3^rd parties.
