Our June Employee Spotlight features Dan Marshall, Kno2’s Technical Operations Manager, who leads Kno2’s Technical Operations. Renowned for his expertise in project management, go-to-market campaigns, and operational reporting, Dan has achieved numerous milestones over the past year. These accomplishments include spearheading system migrations and enhancing the Kno2 financial engine’s overall efficiency by implementing state-of-the-art operational processes and monitoring dashboards.
Dan’s dedication has significantly boosted operational observability. He has been instrumental in providing executive leadership with essential insights into platform and team performance, empowering data-driven decisions that foster continuous improvement. In addition to his work on internal operations, Dan has played a pivotal role in forging strong partnerships with vendors and service providers. This ensures that Kno2 remains at the forefront of technology and innovation.
What do you do at Kno2?
As a Senior Technical Operations Manager, I work closely with management to develop/execute technical strategy and to deliver continuous improvement through strengthened processes and tooling. I help manage, monitor, and report on our technical portfolio, and facilitate compliance with security standards – with a focus on improving Kno2’s ability to scale.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?
Working with an incredible group of highly talented and driven team members, focused on democratizing healthcare information access and improving patient outcomes.
What do you enjoy most outside of work?
Spending time in the kitchen with my 8-year-old son Max and Colleen – my wife of 14 years. We come from families that love to cook and bake, and it’s wonderful to share new meals with family and friends.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
My mother is an American Quarter Horse trainer, and I grew up riding Western on trails througout Tennessee.
