Child and Family Vision Center in Ankeny, Iowa is committed to offering a comprehensive level of continuous care. They deliver specialized eyecare and personalized vision programs, with a focus on innovative eye care services to pediatric and adult patients including post-concussion or post-stroke vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. The vision center is led by Optometrist, Dr. Erik Romsdahl who has been practicing for more than a decade.
Child and Family Vision Center serves 50+ patients per week with a staff of two medical professionals. While some exams are routine, the clinic also handles many cases involving brain injuries. In these instances, Dr. Romsdahl and his team must share a large volume of paperwork to various care providers, law firms and insurance companies.
Typically, the process involves receiving the records requests, printing each individual page of the medical file, managing paper jams, toner cartridges and misprints, counting pages for reimbursement, submitting a fax, waiting for the fax line to clear and getting confirmation that the documents were received.
The entire cycle often takes up to 30 minutes, which is a significant portion of the workweek.

With a few simple phone calls and a total of two hours to implement the software and train the staff, the Kno2 integration was up and running, seamlessly lifting the burden of the arduous document sharing process for the small clinic without any added complications. Now, all they do is ‘click’.
