Position Summary

We are seeking a bold, strategic, and hands-on marketing leader to join Kno2 as our Vice President of Marketing.  This role will have responsibility for the vision, strategy, and execution of our marketing function, driving initiatives that amplify Kno2’s mission and accelerate our growth. This position will report to the Chief Health Officer and work closely with the Founder, tech leadership and other members of the C-Suite to turn vision into reality, aligning marketing with our business goals and go-to-market strategy.   The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment – able to balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution. This is a unique opportunity to build a modern, high-impact marketing function from the ground up: you’ll leverage cutting-edge tools, craft compelling brand stories, generate demand through innovative messaging, and ultimately establish Kno2 as a category-defining brand in healthcare technology. If you are an entrepreneurial marketer who thrives amidst growth-stage challenges and is passionate about disrupting the status quo in healthcare, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Kno2’s business objectives and drives brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth. Ensure a unified go-to-market plan across all channels (digital, social, events, etc.) that strengthens Kno2’s position as an interoperability leader.

Demand Generation & Growth: Drive top-of-funnel lead generation and pipeline growth through innovative campaigns and programs. Utilize digital marketing, content marketing, grassroots campaigns, and targeted outreach to build awareness and generate qualified demand for Kno2’s solutions. Continuously experiment with growth hacks and creative tactics to accelerate customer acquisition.

Brand Storytelling & Communications: Craft and tell Kno2’s story in a bold and consistent way. Oversee our brand messaging and thought leadership content – from website and social media to white papers and press releases – ensuring it resonates with healthcare and tech audiences. Champion Kno2’s brand by securing speaking opportunities for our team, industry partnerships, and media coverage that elevate our profile.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market: Work with Product and Technology teams to articulate the value of Kno2’s offerings (APIs, portals, etc.) in clear, compelling terms. Develop positioning and messaging for new features and releases, and lead go-to-market launch plans to drive successful adoption. Enable our Sales and Partner teams with effective collateral, demos, and training so they can tell a powerful story to clients.

Data-Driven Insights & Optimization: Leverage data and analytics (CRM, marketing automation, web analytics) to measure performance of campaigns and channels. Track key metrics (lead conversion, CAC, ROI, etc.) and make data-driven decisions to refine our strategy. Harness AI tools and marketing tech to personalize engagement at scale, streamline campaign execution, and uncover insights that inform marketing initiatives.

Team Building & Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performance marketing team from the ground up. Recruit top talent across growth, content, product marketing, and more. Provide clear direction, set ambitious but achievable goals, and foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. As a working leader, be ready to roll up your sleeves and lead by example, whether it’s writing a brief, analyzing data, or negotiating a partnership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between marketing and other departments. Collaborate closely with executive leadership, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with company objectives and sales targets. Drive integrated campaigns with a one-team mindset and maintain open communication so that customer feedback and market learnings are shared across the organization.

Market Insight & Positioning: Keep a pulse on the market landscape – monitor healthcare industry trends, competitor moves, and emerging tech in marketing. Use these insights to proactively adjust our strategies and to position Kno2 ahead of the curve. Identify opportunities for Kno2 to lead the conversation on interoperability and mobilize campaigns to seize those opportunities.

Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and technology vendors as needed, negotiating favorable terms and holding them accountable to results. Prioritize investments that yield the highest ROI and pivot spending as needed to support growth objectives.
